McLeod's Daughters is australian TV show, and its first season was released (in Australia) on channel Nine Network. Later, series got seven seasons more. Main idea is just to picture work on a big farm, but it also has some feministic features while the main characters are women.

Season starts, when Tess Silverman Mcleod (Bridie Carter) arrives to her dad's farm after his death. She hasn't seen her half-sister Claire (Lisa Chappell) for many years, since her mother took her away from the farm. Tess is going to sell her hereditary part of the farm - which doesn't please her "tough guy" sister. During the season characters develop and Claire and Tess get closer. Also crushes can't be avoided, when Tess get to know their neighbours Alex and Nick (played by Aaron Jeffery and Myles Pollard).

Series is set mainly to the lovely farm, Drover's Run, in Australia. Also other farms (e.g. Killarney) are mentioned, and Gungellan, the "big" city.

In my opinion, McLeod'S Daughters is very succesful. Characters are very nice, and they are easy to identify with. Also the writer has succeeded on keeping all the characters very close to the viewer (they are plausible - to me, at least), who can feel their pain, happiness and everything. I think I could identify myself most with either Tess or Claire, maybe more Claire. She's little bit like me, and I really like the way she does things. My favourite parts are parts with Nick and Tess, because they are so adorable.

Language was quite easy to follow and understand. Some parts were of course more difficult but mostly I understood it quite well and I could recommend it to also ones, who doesn't understand english well. I would recommend series to anyone who likes Australia, animals or anything like that, because it's quite well done and keeps the excitement on.
